Booking Policy
Please read and sign before confirming your appointment.
1. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations made 24+ hours before your appointment are free. Cancellations within less than 24 hours incur a $50 late fee. Same-day cancellations or no-shows are charged the full service amount. If a cleaner cannot access your home after 15 minutes of waiting, it is treated as a same-day cancellation.

2. Payment Terms

No charge is made today. By providing a card, you authorize Bristlehome to charge it after service completion.

One-time: Charged within 1 hour of your cleaner marking the job complete.

Recurring (weekly / bi-weekly / monthly): First charge after your first completed service, then automatically after each visit.

Tips are optional and 100% go to your cleaner. Tips are non-refundable once processed.

3. Access to Your Home

You are responsible for ensuring your cleaner has safe access at the scheduled time. Pets must be secured prior to arrival. If a cleaner cannot enter after 15 minutes, the visit is considered cancelled and the full service fee applies.

4. Service Guarantee

If any area is unsatisfactory, contact us within 24 hours of completion and we will return to re-clean at no charge. Requests after 24 hours cannot be guaranteed. We do not issue refunds in lieu of re-cleans.

5. Damage & Liability

Bristlehome is fully insured and bonded. Report damage within 24 hours. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, items left unsecured, or items of extraordinary value not disclosed at booking. We are not liable for damage reported more than 24 hours after service.

6. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service for unsafe conditions, hostile interactions with our team, repeated non-payment, or materially inaccurate booking information.

7. Privacy & Data

Your personal information is used solely to fulfill your booking and is never sold. Card data is tokenized by Square — we never store your full card number. Full details: Privacy Policy · Terms of Service

Booking Policy

Bristlehome — Effective April 18, 2026

1. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand life happens. Cancellations made 24 hours or more before your scheduled appointment are free of charge. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment are subject to a $50 late cancellation fee. Same-day cancellations (within 2 hours) or no-shows are charged the full service amount.

Recurring clients who need to skip a visit should notify us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees and to preserve their recurring rate.

2. Payment & Billing

By booking with Bristlehome, you authorize us to securely store your payment method. No charge is made at the time of booking.

  • One-time services: Your card is charged automatically after your cleaner marks the job complete, typically within 1 hour of service completion.
  • Recurring services (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly): Your card is first charged after your first completed service, then automatically after each subsequent visit.

Tips are optional and processed at the same time as your service charge. 100% of tips go directly to your assigned cleaner.

3. Access to Your Home

You are responsible for ensuring your cleaner has safe and clear access to your home at the scheduled time. This includes providing gate codes, key access, garage codes, or being present to let them in. If a cleaner is unable to access your home after 15 minutes of waiting, the appointment will be treated as a same-day cancellation and charged accordingly.

If you have pets, please ensure they are secured prior to our arrival. While we love animals, unsecured pets may prevent us from completing certain areas safely.

4. Service Guarantee

We stand behind every clean. If you are not 100% satisfied with any area of your home, contact us within 24 hours of service completion and we will return to re-clean the area at no charge. Re-cleans must be requested within this window — after 24 hours we cannot guarantee conditions haven't changed.

5. Supplies & Equipment

Bristlehome provides all professional-grade cleaning supplies and equipment. If you have specific product preferences (e.g., fragrance-free, eco-certified), please note them in your booking instructions. We cannot guarantee all special requests can be accommodated but will do our best.

6. Breakage & Damage

Our team is fully insured and bonded. In the rare event of accidental damage, please notify us within 24 hours. We will file a claim and work to repair or replace the item. Bristlehome is not liable for pre-existing damage, items left in walkways or unstable positions, or damage caused by surfaces, finishes, or fixtures in poor condition.

7. Pricing

All prices are estimates based on information provided at booking. Final pricing may vary if the actual condition of the home differs significantly from what was described, or if additional add-on services are requested on the day of service. We will always notify you before performing work outside your original quote.

8. Right to Refuse Service

Bristlehome reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service for any home or client at our discretion, including situations involving unsafe conditions, excessive clutter beyond the scope of a cleaning service, or hostile interactions with our team.

9. Privacy

Your personal information is collected and used solely to fulfill your booking and communicate with you about your service. We do not sell your data. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

By agreeing, your electronic acknowledgment carries the same weight as a written signature under Connecticut law.
